Hi there!
Teaching isn’t just a job — it’s something special. If you’re reading this, congratulations! You’ve chosen one of the best (and hardest) jobs out there. Feeling excited? Nervous? Both? That’s totally normal. Here’s the thing: you’re not doing this alone. I made this page just for you. 💛
Why I Started This
I’m a teacher too, and I remember how wild my first year was. Between planning lessons, managing kids, working late, and wondering if I was doing anything right — it was A LOT.
So, I created this Instagram and blog to support new teachers like you. Think of it as your go-to place for encouragement, tips, and maybe a good laugh when you need it. You don’t have to figure everything out by yourself!
Things You Need to Know
Here’s what I wish someone had told me when I started:
You’re good enough. Nobody expects you to be perfect right away. The best teachers never stop learning.
Mistakes happen — and that’s okay. If a lesson goes wrong or you forget something, don’t stress. That’s how we grow.
You matter more than you think. Even on tough days, remember you’re making a difference in your students’ lives.
Take care of yourself. You can’t help others if you’re burned out. Rest, ask for help, and put yourself first sometimes.
Celebrate the little things. A student finally gets it? A kid smiles at you in the hall? Those moments are everything.
What You’ll Find Here
This page is all about YOU. I’ll share things to lift you up, easy tips to make teaching smoother, and resources that save you time. We’ll tackle classroom challenges together, celebrate wins, and keep loving what we do.
Welcome!
Teaching is tough — but you’re tougher. When you feel like quitting, remember: you’re changing kids’ lives every single day. 💖
Stick around, like the posts, and share your own stories. Let’s help each other become the teachers we wish we had as kids. You’ve totally got this! 🌟
